Pricing

One flat price for the Developer tier, with the baseline crew and the SOC 2 specialist included. The tiers above it are still being built, and are not for sale yet.

The Developer price is settled as of 2026-08-11 — not a placeholder we intend to revise. The tiers above it are genuinely unpriced, and we would rather leave them blank than publish a number to look finished.

Before you sign up

Run the agent crew locally first.

The local quickstart spins up a k3d sandbox in about two minutes with the full agent crew and four sample apps. No signup, no credit card. Bring your own Anthropic key. Hosted Beta access is by request — we onboard each team hands-on rather than leaving you at a signup form.

If you got here with an AI governance problem

$24 is an evaluation price, not our enterprise offer.

The Developer tier exists so a platform team can run the agent crew against a real repository and judge it, without a procurement cycle. It is deliberately cheap because we want the feedback, and it is not sized for an organization trying to govern what a hundred engineers and their agents ship.

If your problem is the governance one — you need to show an auditor which rules were in force on the day of a given merge, and prove nobody quietly relaxed one — the parts that matter to you are free at every tier and shipped today: the signed constitution, the ratchet-only linter, the fact that no configuration flag creates an autonomous merge path, and the evidence trail those produce. You do not need to wait for a tier to open to evaluate whether the control works.

What is not open yet is the commercial wrapper around it at scale — multi-cluster, the specialist packs beyond SOC 2, the support commitment. We would rather tell you that plainly and start the conversation now than sell you a tier that does not exist.

How the pricing scales

Flat, not per-seat.

The Developer tier is one flat price for the whole team. $24 a month covers five seats and five connected services — there is no per-seat multiplier, and no seat minimum to clear before you can start. Pricing for the tiers above it is not settled yet, and we would rather tell you that than publish a number we already intend to change.

Comparison

What does it cost to find out?

Not what the platforms cost in total — that depends on what you buy. This is the narrower question a platform team actually hits first: what do you have to commit before you can see whether the thing works?

VendorWhat their own pricing page says
TruStacks$24 a month, flat. Published above. No call required to price an evaluation.
GitLabPremium lists at $29 per user per month billed annually. Ultimate is quoted by sales. Duo Agent Platform usage runs on credits at $1 each above a monthly allowance their page marks as included for a limited time.
HarnessA free tier exists. Essentials and Enterprise are both listed without figures and quoted by sales.

We are not claiming to be cheaper in the end — a fair total comparison depends on modules, seats, and usage we cannot see from here. What we will claim is narrower and checkable: you can price a TruStacks evaluation without talking to anyone, and a metered plan cannot surprise you at the end of the month.

Every figure here is from the vendor’s own pricing page, checked on 2026-08-11, and recorded with its source alongside the rest of our competitive claims. If one of these is out of date, tell us and we will correct it. Full side-by-side on GitLab Duo and Harness.

Point the crew at a repo. It reads your stack and opens a pull request with generated CI/CD, GitOps, and platform-engineering artifacts. Your team reviews and merges.
